A Shockingly Good Time on the River...with Special Guests!
This month, ORSANCO biologists took Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie electrofishing with his sons on the Ohio River at the Thomas More College Biology Field Station in California, Kentucky. Seiko Ito (pictured above) also made a special visit from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Waterworks in Japan! Seiko is currently on tour to review water management practices in various cities including Cincinnati, New Orleans, and London. The group spent a sunny, windy afternoon on the river learning about native fish, mussels, and overall water quality of the Ohio River.
