Peppermint Martini
Ingredients:
5 ounces good quality vanilla flavored vodka
2 ounces peppermint schnapps
1 ounce grenadine
2 ounces crème de menthe
2 candy canes
Directions:
Place the candy canes in a plastic bag and pulverize with a hammer or the back of a sauté pan until only small bits remain. Place the candy cane bits on a saucer. Coat the rim of the glass with simple syrup or water, then dip the rim in the candy cane mixture.
Place the vodka, peppermint schnapps, grenadine, and crème de menthe over ice in a cocktail shaker- shake vigorously for 30 seconds. Pour the mixture into martini glasses- garnish with a candy cane. Enjoy!
