DOG Street Dog Parade
The Williamsburg Farmers Market is inviting crowd-friendly dogs to parade down Duke of Gloucester Street this Saturday. The parade will begin at Boundary St. and end in front of the W&M Bookstore where prizes will be given for best costume, best behaved and best owner/pet look alike.
Market organizers wish to remind pet owners to evaluate their dog's capacity to handle the density, stimulation, and close quarters of the market before deciding to bring their pet to the market.

Recycling at the Market

Stop by to learn about recycling, fats oils and grease, water conservation, green lawn care and stormwater management. And remember to bring your plastic bags and cell phones to be recycled.

Of all of the products you sell, which is the customer's favorite?
That's a tossup between any pie that contains Rhubarb, we are one of the few places where you can find rhubarb pies, and our Apple Toffee Crumb (this one was a blue ribbon winner at the State Fair of Virginia and one of the inspirations to start my pie business)
What is your favorite thing about the Williamsburg Farmers Market? The connections and relationships we have with built our customers.
In the years that you have participated in the WFM, what is the biggest change?
The biggest change we have seen has been the change in ourselves, and in growth and development of our business through the encouragement and inspiration from our customers, fellow vendors and the market staff. It has been extremely heartwarming and satisfying.
