Student-Teacher Hours
Student-Teacher Hours provide time for individual tutoring, behavior interventions, and covering additional material. Teachers hold at least 60 minutes of student "open door time" per week. The Teacher-Student Hour is held at the same time every week, when at least 75% of the students in the course do not have other courses. It is the responsibility of any student who has a class during Teacher-Student time to schedule an individual meeting in order to confer with a teacher. Teachers may require a student's presence during the Teacher-Student Hour, provided it does not overlap with student's regular class schedule.
Parent-Teacher Hours
All full-time teachers are available one hour per week (at the same time and day each week) for Parent-Teacher Hours. Each teacher's available hour is posted on the School website and available in the School Office the first week of school. Meetings must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance with the teacher directly via email. The meeting is not considered scheduled until the parent/guardian receives email confirmation from the teacher.
