First Day of School
The first day of school is August 9th. All students start at 7:45am. It is an Early Release Day. All classes will be released at 1:00pm.
Early Bird begins on August 9th. Students cannot be on campus before 7:00am
There is NO Late Bird on Thursday, August 9th. Late Bird will begin on Friday, August 10th
The bus will NOT be available for pick-up or drop-off on August 9th. Bus service will begin on Friday, August 10th. Please note: Students MUST be previously registered for this service.

Parking Lot Information
We will have morning drop-off/ pick-up procedure maps at student check-in. Parking is VERY limited. Please DO NOT plan to park and come into the building.

Student Check-in and Schedule Pick-up
All students are required to come to student check-in. If you have not received information regarding Student Check-in, please contact the school immediately.
9th-12th Grade:

Backpack Rules
Rolling backpacks or suitcases will NOT be allowed for any student (our feet and toes will be thankful). This decision has been made for the safety and health of our students and staff.
- Folders/Binders: Teachers for each grade will develop a folder/binder system to minimize the required materials.
- Remember, students have a locker! Packing the backpack for morning classes and then switching materials at lunch means that the backpack won't be too heavy to carry throughout the day. No reason to break the back!
- The teachers will be working with students on backpack and locker organization.
- Never fear, there IS enough time between class to go to lockers.
- Minimize office supplies - carry only what is required. Students do not need to carry a full set of office supplies.

Many parents have asked about school supplies that they can donate to the school. We would appreciate the donation of the following items:

Picture Day
Lyn Sims Photography will take our school pictures this year. Students will receive a proof and picture purchase package approximately two weeks AFTER the photos have been taken.
Grades 5-8 Picture day: August14th

Bell Schedule
The Bell Schedule for BASIS Tucson North is available under Quick Links. Please note that ALL students in grades 5-7 start school at 7:45am. The 1st period is called "0" period to reflect the schedule that students will receive. Students in grades 8-12 will start at 7:45am OR 8:40am depending on their Elective class. Students will get their schedules at Student Check-in.
