Approaching Families about
Early Childhood Mental Health

Service coordinators and providers have many opportunities to support early childhood mental health when they promote healthy social-emotional development. Check out these resources for information you can use when you talk with families about this important topic:

Interested in talking with other early interventionists who support infants and toddlers with ASD and their families? The member-led, statewide CoPA is a great way to share ideas and learn from each other. We meet every other month by phone for one hour. Our next meeting is Monday, May 23, 2016 from 3:00-4:00PM.

To learn more visit our CoPA page on the VEIPD website.
To attend the next CoPA meeting, contact Cori Hill at [email protected] or 540-943-6776.
