This interactive webinar will provide information about federally required family outcomes including how the family survey is used to measure Virginia's performance on these outcomes. An explanation will be provided about scoring and interpretation of the family survey results. Use of the results for improvement planning, as well as resources to assist with this will be discussed.  
MEET THE PRESENTERS:  

Kyla Patterson has a Masters degree in early intervention. She is a policy consultant with the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia state office, where she has worked for the past 20 years. Prior to that, she provided service coordination and developmental services and worked in both community and hospital-based programs.

Anne Brager is a Technical Assistance Consultant with the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia. She is a Registered Nurse with 24 years of experience working in Early Intervention. Anne has worked as a Service Coordinator and Early Interventionist with West Virginia's Birth to Three Program and as a Program Supervisor with Maryland's Infant and Toddler Program.

Sharlene Stowers is the Director of Early Intervention Services for the Infant and Toddler Connection of the Shenandoah Valley (ITC-SV). Sharlene began her career with Grafton Integrated Health over 20 years ago as a speech language pathologist and during her tenure she served as a recruiter, case management supervisor, and case manager. She has almost 10 years experience in early intervention. Sharlene provided early intervention services through the community services board from 1994-1997, and that is where she felt her true calling. She returned to Grafton in 1997 to assume a leadership position in case-management. Grafton became the local lead agency for ITC-SV in January of 2010 and in March of 2010 Sharlene was hired as the Local System Manager.

Beth Tolley is the Early Intervention Team Leader for the Infant & Toddler Connection of Virginia. She has also worked as a pediatric physical therapist providing inpatient, outpatient and early intervention services, as well as serving in management and administrative roles. Both of her sons were served through Part B of IDEA.
