Speech Language Development, Part II

We tried something new with our March and May Talks on Tuesday webinars, focusing on one topic with time in-between to have discussions about the topic through the EI Strategies for Success blog. Let us know whether you liked this 'chunked' content that provides you with more professional development opportunities on a related topic.

Here are a few additional topic-related resources:

 kaleidoscopeKALEIDOSCOPE TRAINING:
Kaleidoscope Training graphic

Kaleidoscope: New Perspectives in Service Coordination, Levels I and II are required professional development trainings for all new service coordinators (although all are invited!) Trainings are held twice per year in cadres (KI and KII occurring in same location, one month apart) so that service coordinators have the opportunity to learn with each other for both Kaleidoscope sessions. Spring Kaleidoscope sessions take place in the Valley region during March (KI)/April (KII). Fall Kaleidoscope sessions are scheduled in the Richmond region during September (KI)/ October (KII).

Note

The fall KI and KII trainings are typically held in the Richmond region. Because the spring KII was cancelled due to low registration and a hotel contract was already in place, we were required to hold our next training in the same hotel to avoid a substantial cancellation penalty fee. The fall KI and KII will both be held at the Stonewall Jackson Hotel in Staunton, VA.

KI will be held September 16 and 17, 2015.

Click here to register for KI.

KII will be held October 19 and 20, 2015.

Click here to register for KII.

Note
SCs who were registered for the postponed KII scheduled for April 22 and 23, 2015 in Staunton, VA have automatically been re-registered for the new dates of October 19 and 20, 2015 in Staunton, VA.

 TALKS ON TUESDAYS

Topics chosen for the Talks on Tuesdays webinar series are based on feedback from EI practitioners about what they need to know more about! ToTs are held on the first Tuesday of the month from 12:00-1:00PM.
