THE TWO MOST MISUNDERSTOOD GREATEST SAYINGS OF JESUS IN HISTORY.
FROM TWO SAYINGS, FROM THE LIPS OF JESUS, WAS HE CLAIMING TO BE GOD?

This may shock some of you, with what I am about to reveal and show you.

Here we have come to the TWO 'greatest statements' ever said and declared from the lips of Jesus, confirming His pre-existence and His DEITY.

1. Before Abraham was, I am.
John 8:58.
2. I and my Father are one.
John 10:30.

I believe these two great sayings by Jesus are the most misunderstood sayings of Jesus in Christian history and the Christian world.

Millions of Christians today believe this great (I am) quote, in John 8:58,
And I and my Father are one, John 10:30, was about Jesus confirming His DEITY.

I was one who misunderstood this for many years and now believe these sayings of Jesus are probably one of the most misunderstood sayings of Jesus EVER.

For the certain Unitarians who make
Jesus SON into nothing more then a MERE man, by teaching Jesus never existed before Mary, need to understand they are wrong, by what this explosive statement (I am) truly means.
Certain Unitarians need to realise, these most famous two words of Jesus saying (I am) should take their theory to extinction.

When we seek we find. As Jesus said in Matthew 7:7.

"Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find;
knock and the door will be opened to you.
NIV.

From my research, here are the very important facts regarding,
John 8:58,
and
John 10:30.

This is where I was wrong in my: IS JESUS GOD, video.

First we will look at: Before Abraham was, I am. John 8:58.

The translation I first used made the '
I AM' into capitals, when they are NOT.
The LEXICON clearly shows lower-case,
I am. εἰμί eimi
1510 I.
And simply means
(exist)
I am.

And we can be sure this is the correct translation, in this single verse of
John 8:58.

(i am) and NOT (i am he) as some may say.

Why you may say?
Because (i am) was Jesus name, which He used countless times throughout the Gospel of John, and was the first part of His Fathers name,
i am who i am,
Exodus 3:14.
i am the gate.
i am the door,
i am the bread of life.
i am the light of the world.
i am the beginning and the end.
i am the first and the last.
i am from above.
And so on.

Also please remember, this is what the conversation was about. The Jews were telling Jesus: Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham? John 8:57.

Jesus replied by confirming before Abraham was born, He already existed. As usual they did not believe Him and therefore could not understand Him, and believed He was claiming to be God.

From my research, Jesus used the first part of His Fathers name, (I am who I am) Exodus 3:14.
Because in fact this was Jesus actual name, which is why Jesus referred to it so many, many times throughout the gospel of John.

I believe this could be why the Jews believed Jesus was claiming to be God, when He simply was not.
These certain rebels did not believe much of Jesus teachings, and there for could not often understand Jesus.
Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. John 8:59.

Friends I am open minded and willing to hear from you, if you believe I am wrong.

We now come to the next greatest statement ever said and declared from the lips of Jesus.

I and my Father are one.
John 10:30
Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.
John 10:31

Again, was Jesus claiming here in John 10:30, He and GOD are ONE GOD?

I will very easily show you the answer is NO.

Again, here in John 10:30, we see the Jews misunderstood Jesus, as millions of Christians are still doing today, by believing in this saying of Jesus He was claiming to be God.

So what did Jesus mean by saying: I and my Father are one, in John 10:30?

I believe when Jesus said: I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. John 10:30.
Jesus did not mean 'oneness in number' but simply meant they are both in complete agreement, and harmony.

Please remember what Colossians 1:15 tells us. (Jesus) Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature.
Jesus and his Father are the exact resemblance, likeness, identity, uniformity, and relationship, with each other.

Many Christians say to me, well if the Jews believed Jesus was claiming to be God, and Jesus did not mean He was God, then why did Jesus not correct the misunderstanding Jews?

This is a very good point. The fact is, why didn't' Jesus make His DEITY clear, if the Jews misunderstood Him as claiming to be GOD?

The fact is, as I will show you, Jesus did in fact correct the misunderstanding Jews.

Please follow me as I show you.

The answer can be found in the last 4 crystal clear words from Jesus own lips.

If we look at the last statement by Jesus, in John 10: 36. There we see, Jesus confirms His DEITY, in 4 clear words, by Jesus saying:
Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said,
I AM GOD's SON.
59 Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

And in the same last 4 crystal clear words, we again have Jesus name (i am gods son)
Here we see the Jews misunderstood Jesus, as millions of Christians are still doing today, by believing Jesus was claiming to be God.

But in fact Jesus was only claiming He 'existed' at the very beginning, and before Abraham, and He meant He was NOT 'oneness in number' but simply meant He and His Father were both in complete agreement, and harmony.

THE DIFFERENCES WHICH WOULD CONFIRM IN: John 8:58, and John 10:30 Jesus was GOD.

I would now like to point out the TWO very clear DIFFERENCES in John 8:58, and John 10:30 which would PROVE and CONFIRM Jesus was confirming He was God.

Here are the two most famous statements, which would simply prove Jesus was claiming to be GOD.

All Jesus needed to say in John 8:58 to prove He was God when He said:
Before Abraham was, I am.
IS INSTEAD SAY, IF HE WAS CLAIMING TO BE GOD:
Before Abraham was, (I am. who I am). Exodus 3:14.
But Jesus did not say (I am who I am) Exodus 3:14.
Which would very easily prove He was GOD.
BUT JESUS ONLY SAID: (I am).

And this is the same case for John 10:30.

When Jesus said:
I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. John 10:30.
Jesus WOULD INSTEAD SAY, IF HE WAS CLAIMING TO BE GOD:
I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE (GOD).
BUT JESUS ONLY SAID: I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. John 10:30.
And did NOT include the extra word on the end (GOD)

But as we have already seen, Jesus did not say (I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE (GOD).

BUT Jesus made it crystal clear by saying:
I AM GOD's SON.

In John 10: 36, Jesus is correcting the Jews, which is why this was in the same conversation, just after the Jews misunderstood Jesus when He said: I AND THE FATHER ARE ONE. John 10:30.

I do hope this will help you to understand the most misunderstood sayings of Jesus in history.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:3.

But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
John 20:31.

Join me again next week when I will share with you my further research on the false 'soul sleep' doctrine.

Followed by my next article, why so many millions of Christians believe Jesus is God because they share the same names, which I believe is what has helped to course such a massive confusion.

May God bless those who seek Him and the truth. Amen.
