ANCIENT TEXT DISCOVERED OUTSIDE THE BIBLE WITH JESUS TEACHINGS.

Recently there was a film on BBC 2 called Bible Hunters. As always most of the programs we watch are not fully accurate with what the Bible teaches, and can often be misleading for the unlearned who do not do their research.

However I find if we are patient and do not fall asleep while watching the misleading parts, we can often find a surprise, when these films can reveal some small but interesting parts. For example I was delighted to watch the program revealing the discovery of the Amarna letters. Which demonstrates the biblical accuracy of the Exodus of Moses. Watch video below.

As I was saying, probably three quarters of this film was not accurate. However, there was another part which made me sit up with surprise. The program also revealed a text outside the Bible with what is believed to be a Gnostic Gospel called: The Gospel of Bartholomew. As we know this is not in the Holy Bible.

What is interesting here is the fact that this small part of the text has the same teachings as the Bible, it tells us about Jesus death on the cross.

And at death Jesus going to the place (state) for departed souls in ''Hades'', the spiritual prison for human souls. Saying Jesus descended down into Hades and raised the saints from prison, the paradise side known as Abraham's bosom.

As we are told here in Ephesians 4:8 - 10.

Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) Ephesians 4:8 - 10. (King James Version)

The pits of hades reminds me of the 33 trapped Chilean-miners, who were trapped down in the depths of the earth.

Only for the 33 trapped Chilean-miners they were raised to life again, which the Chilean-miners say was because of their praying and faith in Jesus Christ.

Was the Chilean-miners story a Message of Salvation? - what is interesting is the fact that every miner was saved.

THE 33 CHILEAN MINERS AND GOD-

Was this just a coincidence? Confirming with Acts 2:21.

And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved

King James Bible.

This part of the ancient text outside the Bible seems to confirm with what Jesus taught about Him going to Hades to raise and save the saints.

How did the Gnostic writer know about Ephesians 4:8? Did he see the original gospels and copy them? Surely he must of, otherwise how could he describe a part from the Bible with such accuracy.

I believe the Gnostic writer coped parts of the originals to give his forgeries credit.

And the fact the Gnostic must of copied some of the original text, is further evidence the original Gospels existed, and Jesus was who He claimed to be.

The good news for born again believers.

Also taught by Jesus, as He was raised to life, so are born again believers raised immediately at death to a new life.

And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
