As a contributing staff writer for Dr. LA Marzulli's magazine PP&S (Politics, Prophecy and theSupernatural), Dr. Marzulli suggested to Caspar McCloud to look at the wonderful research Simon and Emma Brown were doing on the Shroud of Turin. McCloud had just returned from ministering in the UK in 2012, and through a supernatural series of events, the Lord orchestrated and arranged for McCloud and the Browns to meet and become close friends. In Simon's own words, "After praying for healing and guidance by God, we have been connected with a brother in Christ that we did not realise we had." Brown then posted an article on his website www.realdiscoveries. about the freedom and insights he was receiving since their friendship began.
McCloud also sent his friend, Roy Wiley, from Dover, to bring the Browns some of his books and original music CD's. He believed they would be helpful in ministering to the Browns and their friends. Appreciating McCloud's pastoral and scientific insights along with his gift of written communication, Simon asked his mate Caspar for some input. McCloud helped him to expand and enhance an article he was writing on the Shroud of Turin. This collaboration has now been adopted into this book. The image on the shroud reveals the torture of the forty lashes, shows us the scars and pierced body, and the painful puncture wounds from the crown of thorns which pierced His head. It shows us His plucked out beard and records His humiliation by the Romans, who punched and bruised His swollen cheekbones. It shows His pain from carrying His own cross, which can be seen by the damaged knee from falling. It shows His agony from the blood shed of His pierced hands and feet, that bears silent witness to the horror of the cross. It bears the spear wound in His side, and yes, the ultimate triumph of the Resurrection of Jesus (Yeshua) meaning Salvation. All this is recorded supernaturally on The Shroud of Turin.
(We read in Matthew 28: 17 "And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted." So some people who saw the actual physical resurrected Jesus still entertained a spirit of doubt, probably relatives of Thomas. Which one are you?)

BREAKING NEWS from Turin:
It was announced this morning that Pope Benedict XVI, as one of his last acts as Pontiff, has authorized a television only exhibition of the Shroud of Turin on March 30, 2013 (Holy Saturday) directly from the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist where the cloth is permanently stored. Here is an excerpt from an e-mail I received this morning from my friend Bruno Barberis, President of the International Center for the Study of the Shroud (Centro Internazionale di Sindonologia) in Turin with the details: - I would like to give you in advance an important piece of news. On March 30th (Holy Saturday) in the late afternoon (Italian time) in the Turin Cathedral there will be a TV exposition of the Holy Shroud. The exposition will be broadcast by the RAI Uno television network. This event, connected with the "Year of Faith," will happen 40 years after the first and unique TV exposition of the Shroud on November 23rd, 1973. The Shroud will remain in its room in the Cathedral and the length of the exposition will be around one hour. On March 1st in Turin at 11.00am a press conference will be held regarding this special exposition.
It is likely that footage from this exposition will be picked up and shown by other television broadcast networks around the world and on the internet. I will do my best to keep you updated as more details become available.
