Dear Parents,

Have you bought your Auction Dinner tickets?  We have room for more -- consider inviting friends, grandparents, or a new family you know.  We are on countdown to the BIGGEST party of the year and it all directly supports your children! As you help St. John School and the children, you will not only enjoy a great evening, but you may also find that you are the lucky owner of a priceless piece of art, a relaxing holiday, an adventure in Africa, or a dinner party! To cap it all, you will be healing our panes!

This year's fund-a-need is a very real NEED indeed! Our oldest windows have been in place since 1923! When the school was built back then, rope and pulley, single pane, wooden-frame windows were standard construction. But even windows "built to last" don't last forever. The 90-year-old wooden frames have deteriorated inside and out and could be easily compromised. The wood has splintered, creating drafts and at times what feels like gale force winds blowing through. Some glass panes are cracked or warped; others were replaced by a temporary, plastic substitute which no longer attaches to the frame - see the picture above! In addition, the rusted lintels above the windows are causing cracks and bulging in the brick faade. If this is not dealt with moisture intrusion behind the lintels could threaten the building exterior giving rise to greater costs. You responsible homeowners will acknowledge that replacing the windows is a priority!

So come on out on April 4th and 5th and party with the best of intentions and very real purpose!

Congratulations to the seventh and eighth graders, and Mr. Tice! The Science Fair was very informative and impressive. Tonight fifty of our scientists will display and explain their projects at the Regional Science Fair hosted by Bishop Blanchet High School. We wish them all the best.

You families with primary and intermediate students, also have an event tonight. It's Family Math Night!  Come, play games and learn!  The teachers will also be here to play along with you and your family.

Scrip

Are you ready for the future of scrip fundraising? MyScripWallet launches soon, and we're so excited to finally make it available! It'll be easier than ever for families to participate on the go, manage ScripNow and Reload cards, and earn rebates on even more planned and unplanned purchases.

And the best part? You'll continue to earn for St. John School, the highest scrip rebates, while using your existing ShopWithScrip and PrestoPay account. MyScripWallet will only support PrestoPay payments for now, so enable it soon if you haven't already, and encourage your extended family members to sign up.

With more than 250 popular brands available in ScripNow eCards, and over 75 brands that can be reloaded, MyScripWallet will have the widest selection of electronically delivered products available anywhere. All family orders will be automatically tracked and added to your ShopWithScrip account. This solution will also work on any mobile device (Apple, Android, Windows, etc.), regardless of the operating system, so it's open to everyone!

We'll send out an announcement when MyScripWallet is live, so keep an eye on your email!

Scrip - the EASIEST fundraising you will EVER do!
