Catholic Schools Week - Principal for the Day, Master Tai F., Grade 3 Dear Families, What a glorious two weeks we have had - Catholic Schools Week and Seahawks week! We have alternated wearing blue and green and purple and gold, celebrating values of hard work, commitment and success by the Seahawks and St. John! Thank you all for attending the State of the School presentations. St. John has a huge success story to tell - we should have our own parade for Fair Share Stewardship and how the community comes together to ensure that families can attend our school. I am also very thankful to the facilitators who volunteer their time to meet with you all next week as you complete the process. In the meantime, please take the time to prayerfully discern how much St. John and Catholic education mean to you. Tonight is the last opportunity pick up your packet at the State of the School meeting and save $50 in registration fees. On Saturday, come check out the wine for the auction! The Wine Tasting event begins at 7:00pm in Egan Hall. See you there! Also, the auction needs you! Please make sure that your procurement items are turned in - this is all part of our Fair Share Stewardship success story. Here's a great opportunity to live Fair Share. Volunteer for the auction - link here! We will have Mass on Wednesday, February 12, to celebrate St. Valentine and the love we have for God and one another. Students should wear dress uniform. You are invited! Unfortunately, I will miss this Mass; I will be at Sacred Heart School as a member of the visiting team for the WCEA (Western Catholic Educational Association) accreditation. I will be at Sacred Heart School Wednesday, February 12 through Friday, February 14.
