Understanding Alzheimer's

& Other Dementias

Tonight (Tuesday, October 15th), come to Laura's Library at 6:30pm for an important & useful program on the topic of aging, specifically in helping aging loved ones through Alzheimer's & other dementias.  Jackie Verdoorn from Hill Country Care Providers will be the guest-speaker for the evening.

 

Solar Energy Basics

If you are at all interested in learning about alternative energy solutions, you are in luck because tomorrow evening (Wednesday, October 16th) we will host guest-speaker Bret Biggart, Managing Director of Freedom Solar at 6:30pm at Westbank.  Come learn the basics of solar energy.


Third Thursday Gardening Series

Gardening is such a popular pastime for our Westbank community that we want to honor that passion with a monthly series through December.  On the third Thursdays of the month, come hear guest-speakers discuss different gardening topics at noon at Westbank.

Ghostly Tall Tales & True

Have you been jealous of your kids & grandkids that we have storytime for them, but not for you?  Now's your chance to hear someone tell you stories...meant for grown-ups!  On Wednesday, October 23rd, 6:30pm at Laura's Library, we are pleased to welcome nationally renowned storyteller Donna Ingham.  Her hilarious stories are meant for adults, but everyone is welcome.
