'I am with thee always'
Triune Mercy Center / November 2013
From the pastor:

For many years, one of my favorite women at Triune has been Lois. She is always polite, always clean, always dependable.
To my surprise, early in our relationship I learned she slept most nights behind a dumpster in a business area of Pleasantburg Drive. It was hard to picture: This was a woman who attended Greenville Tech and studied hard most days at the public library. But at night, she hid out behind a dumpster.
I think of this paradox when I look at our holiday honor card, painted by Charles Graham in our art room. It shows a homeless man sleeping beside a dumpster with his dog.
"I am with thee always," Charles wrote above the scene.
Charles' card is available for the holiday season for a minimum $10 donation.
       Inside, the card says....

A gift has been given in your honor
to Triune Mercy Center.
This holiday gift will spread the joy of Jesus Christ
to the homeless and hurting people Triune serves.

You may purchase the cards by coming to Triune's reception area or by sending in the order form below. Then you mail the cards.
If you want us to address, stamp and send them, enclose your mailing list as well as the signature you want on the card and an extra $1 per card, please.
Your gift to Triune will help us reach homeless people with mental health care, community nursing, drug rehab, job coaching, art, music, theater, gardening, table fellowship and an encouraging worship community.
Oh, and Lois? With help from our friends at Greenville Mental Health and Hopes of Hope, we moved her into housing this fall.

Looking for another Christmas gift idea? How about The Weight of Mercy, the memoir about my first three years at Triune? Many book clubs, Sunday school classes, mission circles and entire churches have chosen it for study or just a fun read.
The Weight of Mercy is available in our reception area, Fiction Addiction, 10,000 Villages, Mr. K's, Gage's, The Cafe at Williams Hardware or online at www.amazon.com.

Blessings,

Deb Richardson-Moore
