Fall Equinox
Harvest Moon
In case you missed it, the calendar Autumnal Equinox took place this morning at 4:21 a.m. EDT.

Not to worry, there is another chance to experience the event!
The true Equinox occurs this weekend on the 26th,
when sunrise and sunset happen at 6:59,
followed the next day by the Harvest Moon!

You won't see us harvesting
trees by moonlight,
but we might be taking a walk
among them, under it!

And if that weren't enough natural phenomenon to celebrate, there is one more surprise on the 27th.
The SUPER MOON will display a TOTAL ECLIPSE.
Sounds like a good Sunday night to stay up late
or a good Monday morning to get up early?

One thing that marks the Fall Equinox for trees is SEED!
Trees of all kinds with ripened fruit,
dropping seeds on the ground,
nature spreading
new life and hope all around.

"Life starts all over again when it gets crisp in the fall."
F. Scott Fitzgerald

Examine each question in terms of what is ethically and esthetically right, as well as what is economically expedient.  A thing is right when it tends to preserve the integrity, stability, and beauty of the biotic community.  It is wrong when it tends otherwise.
