Fall is time for fruit and seed collection.

Its also a good time to think about the spring digging trees to make sure they are harvested at the right time.  Reserve when you get a chance!

Many understory natives
and ornamentals available in container.

Larger specimens of understory and ornamental trees are best dug in spring.

Still time to reserve spring dig plants for next year.

...and then there is the O A K!

Our national tree, providing for hundreds of years, high quality air, water and soil cleansing, huge carbon sinks benefitting us all, while providing shade and food sources for hundreds of flora, fauna, fungi and insects we don't even realize we depend on. They tolerate our changing climate with the secrets hidden in their acorns.

We should be so lucky.

See an excellent article in Nov'14 Landscape Architecture Magazine, featuring Guy Sternberg, world renowned oak expert, who has learned what he shares from right out of his backyard at the Starhill Forest Arboretum

Give us a call if we can help you incorporate the mighty oaks in your
Mary Tree, the boys
and a big Bur Oak
diversified planting programs.
