Seeds and Planting Underway!
Dear friends,

Stopping for a moment in spring,  to appreciate this miraculous life we have on earth, brought to us by the oxygen-producing, pollution-sucking, water-filtering, life-supporting magical trees.

One look up into the skies an hour apart, on an evening night
through the branches

of a bur oak tree,
is a good reminder.

Please call if there is anything we can help with this week as mother nature pours on the spring to get the photosynthesis engines started for the season.

The links below will take you to the
Meanwhile, we hope you enjoy
the Lyrid Meteor Shower (tonight!)
and
Earth Day and Arbor Day
celebrations and plantings.
Let's work together to make these celebrations every day...

...like Chicago Openlands
wasting no time getting started on planting, no matter the late  start to the season.
More than 100 Glacier Oaks native trees have already been planted
by Openlands TreeKeepers
and GreenCorp volunteers!
