Greetings!
Effective June 1st, the Brady Economic Development Corporation will be managed by staff of the City of Brady and will no longer be a part of the of the Brady/McCulloch County Community Development Office. The Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce and the Brady Tourism & Convention Bureau will continue to be managed in that office and will now be collectively referred to as the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau.
In addition to the office restructuring, the remaining staff members, Erin Corbell and I, received new job titles and now serve as the Director of Chamber of Commerce & Finance and the Director of Marketing & Tourism, respectively. The titles more accurately reflect each employee's role and routine responsibilities for the Chamber of Commerce and the Tourism & Convention Bureau.
With the busy summertime event season in full swing, the office has also hired Alexandria "Allie" Kubacak as a temporary, part-time administrative assistant to help with daily office management and event planning for the upcoming 87th Annual July Jubilee Celebration and the 40th Annual World Championship BBQ Goat Cook-Off. Allie began working with us on Monday, June 3rd and will continue through Friday, August 23rd and during the weekend of the goat cook-off. We are so excited to have her with us!
The office looks forward to continuing to serve the business community of Brady and McCulloch County while also working hard to recruit and welcome visitors and tourists to our area.
If you have any questions, you can contact the Brady/McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau at (325) 597-3491 or via email info@bradytx.com.
