Brady/ McCulloch County Chamber of Commerce
The weather is getting nicer and there are lots of things coming up here in the Heart of Texas in the next few months. It seems like things are in full swing at the Chamber office, not only preparing for upcoming events, but continuing our member visits (which we are loving). Check out our calendar for more information. Also, please remember that if you want anything added to our calendar, just send the details to us or give us a call!
Coming up in April, we will have our quarterly Good News Luncheon, sponsored by Brady West Nursing and Rehab. Early May brings the Duffers Golf Tournament. Also in May is the Morgan Military Museum's annual Armed Forces Celebration and Fly-In.
We would like to stress the importance of registering to vote for the upcoming May election if you live in the City of Brady. April 11th is the deadline to become a registered voter. Early voting starts April 29th, with May 11th being Election Day.
Finally, Cooker Registration for the 40th World Championship Goat Cook-off began March 1st and our last open spot was taken on March 25th. Remember that as a member of the Chamber, you are eligible for a discounted vendor booth if you wish to have one at the park to sell goods, highlight your products and services, etc. Vendor information will be available soon!

The Brady Economic Development Corporation will be hosting EDC Days in the Chamber of Commerce board room on Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. The purpose of this day is to learn what Brady EDC's role is in the community, spend 1-on-1 time with staff and board of directors, and to have the opportunity to ask questions about EDC.
There is no cost to attend and it is come and go at your own pleasure. If you have any question, please feel free to call the Chamber office at 597-3491 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
A big welcome to our newest members! We're excited to have you join the Chamber of Commerce!
