ONLY SUBMIT YOUR ORDER ONCE! WAIT A FEW MINUTES, THEN CHECK YOUR EMAIL --- A CONFIRMATION WILL COME SHOWING YOU THE ORDER YOU PLACED.

WHAT IF I WANT MORE THAN 5 TICKETS PER SHOW?
No worries. It's simple. Please enter the TOTAL number of tickets you ACTUALLY WANT in the space provided. The ticket company will issue 5 tickets per family and then after everyone gets their first requests in and a chance at 5, then more will be distributed based on the order in which ticket requests were received. Note to Junior, Senior & Elite Company families you will get tickets to one show first then after all other families have their chance you will get more IF available. If you have a solo in the company shows you'll get preference for those shows of course. Those company dancers performing only group routines, no extra pieces, please purchase the majority of your tickets to show A/B/C. We'd like the kids who solos and extra pieces to get as many tickets as they can to the company shows to free up space at the other shows.

HOW DO I KNOW MY TICKETS ORDER WAS RECEIVED?
You will be prompted to enter your email address on the ticket request form online. A confirmation email will be sent to this address. This is why it is SO SO SO important to enter your email address correctly otherwise you won't get a confirmation.

WHO NEEDS A TICKET?
Every individual body entering the auditorium needs a ticket per show. This includes fathers in the Father-Daughter dance, small children (no lap sitting) and last minute guests. No one is permitted into the auditorium without a ticket. We kindly ask you follow this policy as we are trying to make it the best experience for everyone and have a small child bounce around in front of them while their child is on stage is extremely frustrating, you wouldn't want that happening to you while your beautiful dancer was on stage, so we ask everyone to be courteous and follow this rule. Not to mention if the fire department shows up and we are over capacity due to lap sitting or standing they will shut us down immediately.

CAN WE PICK OUR SEATS?
We're sorry, no. To make this process as fair as possible, we hired an outside ticket vendor that uses a computer program to assign seats in the order in which they are purchased. The first five (5) tickets will be near each other, but we cannot guarantee that additional seats will be near the first set. However, the venue is quite small and there are no bad seats!! We promise!

WHAT IS THE COMPANY SHOW ALL ABOUT?
The company show is a showing of all the routines our Company performed at competition. Prep 1 and Prep 2 are not in this show. All solos, duets, trios, extra groups (sisters dance) will be in this show as well. It will run similarly to how competitions do. You get up between dances as politely as possible and try not to disrupt others. It's going to be about a 3-3.5 hours long show, with no intermission. For this reason, small children and babies should probably not attend unless they can sit silently for several hours. If you choose to bring a small child make sure he/she is close to an exit so that they can get up to go to the bathroom or get air when they get ansy. All bodies must have a ticket, no lap sitting. Note to company dancers who do NOT have solos, etc. If your group dances are in other shows you'll be asked to request tickets to those shows first. Families that have a dancer doing a solo or extra non-company piece will be given priority tickets to these two shows since those other pieces are not in the other shows (ABC).

CREDIT CARDS: HOW DO I KNOW IF I HAVE ONE ON FILE?  DO YOU TAKE AMERICAN EXPRESS?
You can always check your account status by logging into your account on our website using this link ---> LOGIN IN. There, you can add or change credit cards. If you are paying by check or cash please remember you must bring your check to the studio within 24 hours of placing your online request in order for your order to remain in line.

WHERE DO WE GET OUR TICKETS?

Your tickets will be delivered to the studio within a couple of weeks of the ticket sale. We will send out an email when they are ready and we will be handing them out from the front desk. A parent must sign for the tickets at pick up in order for us to give them out. If tickets are lost or misplaced they will not be reissued. You will have to buy a whole new set. Please keep them in a safe place.

WHEN DO WE NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE RASHI SCHOOL?

For rehearsal days

everyone must arrive at between 5:30pm and 5:45pm in their black leotard, caramel tights, hair in a low bun and full stage make up on. Bring all dance shoes with them too. Do NOT arrive before 5:30pm or AFDS gets in big trouble. About 7 days before rehearsal you'll receive an approximate pic  k up time for your dancer.

We rehearse youngest to oldest, but need the older dancers there on time in case we have a lull and if we can throw them on stage early we will. When dancers arrive at 5:30pm they must wait in the lobby, if caught roaming the school again we will get in trouble. Please make sure to remind your children of this policy.

For recital days, all dancers must arrive, in their costume with full hair and make-up done ONE HOUR before the show starts. PLEASE be prompt. We start on time and it's really hard on the kids when they or their classmates are running late! The doors to the auditorium open 1/2 hour before the show starts and we will show our end-of-year video yearbook presentation at that time.

IS THERE PARKING?
Yes. There is plenty of parking at the Rashi School.

However, any cars parked outside of the main parking lot will be towed. We strongly encourage carpooling so no one is put in a position where they don't have a spot.

WHAT SHOULD I SEND WITH MY CHILD?
Please make sure to pack:
  • All costumes and accessories (labeled!!!!!) .
  • Touch up make-up (lipstick!) and extra bobby pins.
  • All dance shoes needed (labeled!!!)
  • A bottle of water labeled with your child's name
    • NO JUICE, SODA, ETC!
  • Non-staining, healthy snacks if necessary (carrot sticks, crackers, string cheese, veggies sticks, etc)
  • If your child is young, you may send a small activity like a coloring book with pencils or other small non-messy activities.

IS FOOD OR DRINK ALLOWED IN THE AUDITORIUM?
ONLY bottled water is permitted. No food allowed. The auditorium is brand new and it is a requirement of rental to prohibit all food and beverages. Please respect Rashi's wishes or we will not be allowed to return and we will also be fined heavily for any stains or spills.

IS THERE AN INTERMISSION?
No, to keep the show moving quickly we do not want to take 15-20 minutes break. We kindly ask if you must get up to try and ONLY move between dances. We understand this can't always be done, but it's extremely distracting when audience members get up and down between dances. Another good reason to try and get child care for very small children.

WILL FLOWERS BE ON SALE AT THE RECITAL?
Yes, we sell single rainbow roses on site for $6 each. Cash only! Or purchase in advance for $5 each and we will have them waiting for you for pick up at the show! Click here to order now and make sure to bring payment to the front desk the next time you drop off at the studio.

SHOW ETIQUETTE

NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY
OR VIDEO!!
PLEASE respect this rule. The lighted LCD display is very distracting for audience members behind you. Every family will receive a professional DVD of the performance.

NO LAP SITTING

Please consider getting child-care for very young children and those who have trouble quietly sitting still for approximately 2 hours long.

PLEASE BE COURTEOUS
Please remember, everyone is there to see their own children. Please silence cell phones, refrain from talking and take noisy children outside. This is a special experience for all the dancers and families. If you'd like to talk or make noise please go outside the auditorium.

ENTERING & EXITING

Please do not get up or return to your seat in the middle of a performance, wait until in between dances this way you don't obstruct anyone's view while they are trying to watch the dancers on stage.

THANK YOU & ENJOY THE SHOW
