Dancers & Parents,

Please note the following important details concerning the Turn It Up Dance Challenge dance competition in Bellingham, MA.

** All times are approximate ** Group Dancers MUST be ready to perform 90 minutes in advance except if you are the first on for the day. See schedule and table below for more details.

Remember the times listed below are your arrival times, not performance times because those are likely to change depending on the flow of the competition. They will not wait if you are not there, even if they are running early. It's your job to be there early and know where you are on the schedule.

TIGHTS & COSTUMES--- IMPORTANT NOTE:
Please be sure that you bring your COMPETITION pairs of tights (never worn to dance class or convention) --- label them on the tag maybe so you do not mix them up. We know kids tear their tights sometimes, you may need to purchase new tights if these are torn. Please remind your dancer to do her best to be careful with these particular pairs.

COMPETITION LOCATION:
Bellingham High School
60 Blackstone Street
Bellingham, MA

For questions, please contact your team liaisons before contacting Abigail!! They can help you answer your questions. You can always reach out to any one of them, but this may help you to answer your questions faster.

MAKE UP HINTS

STEP 1
Prep the face so the make up show ups.
This is important so their faces don't get washed out on stage.

Prep The Face

STEP 2
EYES (white, brown, golds) --- earth tones --- no blues, greens or purples!!!
  • Liquid liner is tricky please be careful, pencil is better for beginners.
  • This video may seem extreme to you but it really looks awesome on stage and once you practice a few times becomes really easy to do.
  • The liner is the hardest part so practice a few times and if it's too irritating for your child someone can help you with that and the mascara when you arrive at the competition an hour early. No worries. Do the rest before you arrive.
  • Just make sure you are EARLY!!!
