  Promise for Haiti is a 501(c)3 philanthropic organization dedicated to Health Care, Education, Clean Water, Agriculture and Economic Development.

 

"Promise for Haiti exists to initiate and nurture the spiritual growth of the people of the Pignon area and to practically demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ to them by providing the region with primary and acute health care, essential sanitation facilities, agricultural training and  functional literacy, basic educational opportunity, and economic growth and development."

Have you ever felt a tug from your heart and didn't know what to do with it?

Have you wanted to contribute in some way but not sure how to do that?

Have you wished that you could go to Haiti and help in some way but you are unable to go?

 

Reflecting on 2012, Promise For Haiti is so grateful for your prayers and support throughout the year! With your support these blessings have occurred in 2012.

  • Visiting mission teams who continually support Pignon
  • Caring support of Hospital de Bienfaisance
  • Feeding the children and their families
  • Establishing Health accounts for those who are in great need.
  • Supporting 2 additional schools that bring the total to 9 schools.
  • Training Haitians from all areas of Haiti through the Bio Medical program.
  • Opening a Prosthetic clinic.
  • Maintaining and repairing buildings.
  • Constructing additional desks for the schools.

We are looking forward to a great year in 2013! As we launch a New Year in 2013, please continue to pray for these blessings. Please add to your thoughts the need to support the Haitians who help with these programs. Your donations large or small are special to us!

 
A New Entrance for the Hospital!

Thanks to a gift from a generous donor, the hospital has a new entrance and facelift. The former entrance was totally demolished by the paving of streets in Pignon.......this is beautiful!


 

 

 


     Newlyweds Celebrate Belated Honeymoon in Pignon!

Josh and Paige Konoza of Pittsburg, PA. were married in August 2012 and decided to serve with one of our partners, Many Hands For Haiti in Pignon for their belated Honeymoon. This is the first time for both of them to travel to Haiti.

Through their daily observations and pictures many stories unfold. Topics such as: New Friends, Learning, Opportunities, Market Day, Sunday Church, Christmas in Haiti, The Poor and the Powerless are presented in their stories.
