Help Diamond Knot, Help the Community!
3rd Annual Coats for Kids Drive
On December 3rd, Diamond Knot kicked off our 3rd Annual "Coats for Kids" donation program to benefit the children of Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County. We challenge our customers to help up beat last year's donations of over $3100 to help the children of domestic violence stay warm and dry during the winter.
Domestic Violence Services of Snohomish County is a private, non-profit organization that provides a safe and secure emergency shelter, while providing services for victims of domestic abuse. Most of the women and children staying at the shelter arrive with very little and often without the basic necessities. As we have already experienced, this winter is going to be a wet one and in an effort to help these families, Diamond Knot Brewing Company is collecting donations to purchase warm coats and clothing. Our goal is to raise enough money that each child staying in the shelter has a warm coat and hat this winter. It does not take much; just a few dollars can go a very long way to help a child in need.
Donations will be accepted starting Dec 3rd - 20th at all Diamond Knot locations in Mukilteo and Camano Island, Washington. To make your donation go even further, Diamond Knot Craft Brewing will match all donations dollar for dollar.
Help make a child's holidays special and to keep them warm this winter.

Diamond Knot Holiday Hours
The Diamond Knot Mukilteo locations will be closing at 8:00pm, and the Camano Lodge will be closing at 7:00pm on Sunday December 16, 2012, for our company Christmas party.
All Diamond Knot locations will be closed Christmas Day so that our employees can enjoy the holiday with their friends and family.

In the spirit of great Washington beer, Diamond Knot Brewing would like to welcome our friends from Iron Horse Brewing from Ellensburg, WA to the Alehouse on Wednesday December 19th, for a fun night of beer. Ross and the whole gang will be here to answer all of your beer questions, plus we will be sampling three of their tasty beers. To add to the fun, you will have the chance to win some cool swag. This is our way of supporting Washington Beer and our brethren in the brewing community, all while providing you a great time! Join us for some great Washington beers! |

Dec 6th:
Golden Ale, dry-hopped with Amarillo
Very light in color, but with a significantly malty mouthfeel imparted by Munich Malt and flaked barley. Just a hint of citrusy bitterness comes from Cascade hops, then dry-hopped with Amarilo hops. ABV: 4.9%

Dec 13th:
Vanilla Brown Ale
We have taken the Brown Ale to a new level with just the right amount of vanilla.
A slightly sweet, malty aroma gives way to a big, smooth mouth feel with a crisp finish. Six malts lend complexity and Glacier hops provide a slightly herbal finish. ABV: 5.6%

Ho!Ho!
Winter Ale
A robust 'winter warmer' ale, ruby brown in color with a slightly sweet, fruity nose. Very hoppy, yet balanced with a sturdy malt foundation. Our Brewmaster's favorite! ABV: 8.5%

Dec 27th:
Double dry-hopped XIPA
The surly big brother of our IPA is now even bigger as we double dry-hopped this cask of XIPA. Still dark copper in color, the distinct malty flavor greets you with a more intense hoppy finish.
ABV: 7.9%

Matt's Nitro - Dec 12th Ho!Ho! Winter Ale
To keep the holiday spirit flowing, Matt's Nitro Beer will be the Ho!Ho! Winter Ale. Available at the Front Street Alehouse, this 'winter warmer' served on nitro creates a very smooth wonderful holiday treat.
ABV: 8.5%; IBUs 60

Dec 6th: Possession Porter
A robust, American-Style Porter. Chocolate Malt, Black Barley, Flaked Barley, Crystal Malt and molasses lend a deep, reddish-black hue to this full-bodied ale. Galena and Glacier hops impart substantial yet balanced bitterness. ABV: 5.3%
Dec 20th: Golden Ale
