Bridges Out of Poverty in the Tri-Valley

The effort to bring attention to the poverty existing in and around Pleasanton started in October a year ago with a luncheon attended by 150 people. Since that time they've been in a process of formation.  A big step was a five-hour retreat  led by a facilitator trained in creating working relationships especially among an assortment of organizations, groups and individuals who have common desires but not necessarily well-defined common goals.  The facilitator produced a report reflecting the common understandings that emerged from the retreat, see Final Report

MOVIE NIGHT at Our Lady of Grace

Are you concerned about fracking?   How should we respond as Christians to this issue? If you are interested in learning more about this moral problem of our times,  join us in viewing and discussing the stimulating 80-minute documentary film, "GROUNDSWELL RISING."
