Social Justice Newsletter
April 9, 2015

Today's newsletter upholds a vision of marriage and the family as being engaged in working for a more just society and a more fully human life for all.  The family is not a nuclear family, but an extended family, absorbing and contributing to the diverse culture surrounding it and working to build a better world.

The main article consists of two excerpts from a pastoral reflection prepared by the US Catholic Bishops in 1998.  A second article consists of an annotated list of links to videos of the 2015 Religious Education Congress.

Called to Justice in Everyday Life

Everyday life for parents involves working for the common good and teaching children by example what it means to be a good citizen, a helpful companion, and a loving and caring person.
