 Evolution of a Criminal

A sixteen year old boy in Texas and two juvenile companions rob $140,000 from a bank.  He soon confesses, is sentenced to only five years in prison, completes his GED, and is admitted to the film school at New York University (NYU). Years later he created a fascinating documentary film about the events. The video was shown on the PBS program Independent Lens recently.
