CLASS SALE:
Michaels knitting classes are only $15, Sunday 11/9 through Saturday 11/15! Sign up for classes online (classes are posted through December), or purchase classes in the store. You can also buy a block of classes without having to choose specific dates (see below). Stock up on classes now and take advantage of the promotion!

HOW TO SIGN UP:
Online:Go to www.michaels.com, scroll to middle of home page, section "CLASSES & EVENTS" and click the red button "Find a Class." Click on "Knit and Crochet" then the red button "Book your class now." In the pop-up window, put in your zip code and click "search." Then click either the Edgewater or Clifton store to see the schedule. Pick the class that you want to attend, and click the "Buy Now" button. You will need to create a log-in if you haven't done so already. If you want to purchase a block of classes: Purchase any knitting class on any date and I'll contact you to schedule (see "class policies" below.) If you want to buy even more than are currently listed online, you can "Add a Friend" as many times as you'd like to one class date (but you'll need to change the first name of the mythical friend as the online system won't let you list yourself more than once). At the store:Go to either the Edgewater or Clifton store and go straight to the register. Tell the store associate you want to buy a knitting class. H/she will pull out the class binder that lists each class on a page. Tell the associate which date(s) you want to attend, and s/he will write your name on the applicable sheet in the book.
If you want to purchase a block of classes:
Tell the store associate that there is a sign up sheet in the pocket in the FRONT of the binder that says "Knitting Class Sales/ Open House" which we use to keep track of bulk classes (in Clifton this sheet is yellow). H/she should ring up however many classes you want to purchase, then write your name, phone number, email address, # of classes purchased, and confirmation # on this sheet. I WILL WRITE IN the class dates attended when you come to class. If the store associate is confused, ask to speak to the manager on duty who should be able to help you.
BOTH METHODS:
KEEP YOUR RECEIPT in case there is any confusion as to how many classes you purchased.
NOTE that you must attend class at the store where you've purchased classes.

CLASS PROCEDURES
If you've purchased a block of classes:
Call the store 24 hours prior to the class you wish to attend. Tell the store associate that you want to sign up for a knitting class. Explain that you've already purchased the class, and that you need him/her to write your name in the knitting book on the corresponding date. If the associate doesn't understand, ask to speak to the manager on duty. If neither the associate nor the manager understand, please email or text me your preferred class date.
If you can't come to class:Please text or email me directly if you are signed up for class but can't come, and provide an alternate date that you wish to attend.
CLASS POLICIES
You can change the date you attend class if you notify me no later than 24 hours prior to class. For last minute illness or emergency, I will make a one-time exception. Otherwise, you will no longer be able to reschedule your class after the class is over.
Going forward, I will only contact you prior to class if I need to cancel the class. If you haven't called the store or contacted me in advance to sign up, I won't be able to reach you if class is cancelled.
