Freedom Index Launch

Last Thursday we hosted over 100 guests at the UWA Club for the Launch of the Economic Freedom of the World Index.

The speakers were fascinating, from Fred McMahon of Canada's Fraser Institute warning of Australia going "down the slippery slope" to James Paterson from the Institute of Public Affairs giving rare insights into why Australian Federal politics has been so volatile over the last few years..

Two Mannkal scholars also spoke of their internships in Germany and Cambodia, while the Mannkal scholars for the end of this year (that's them in the photo!) were presented to the crowd.

Dr David Evans - why the science of climate change is wrong, Nov. 24th
Our friends in the Freedom and Prosperity Club will host Dr David Evans on November 24th. Dr Evans recently made national headlines with his critique of the theory of climate change, claiming that the failure of most climate models to predict the 18-year pause in warming was due to fundamental flaws in the model's mathematics.
