Mannkal's e-Focus

Greetings!,

On May 13 2014 at 7:30pm, the 2014-15 Federal Budget was released. Leading up to its release, consumer confidence plunged to five-year lows with fears of significant tightening of government spending. Introducing a $7 co-payment for Medicare services, altering the accessibility of unemployment benefits, removing Family Tax Benefits to families whose youngest child is six years or older, and a move to deregulate university fees by 2016, are just some of the themes of this year's Federal Budget. Check out the Centre for Independent Studies' Budget Analysis here for more details!
