Mannkal's e-Focus

Greetings!,

October marked the release of Mannkal's half yearly publication, Mannkal's Musings. This special scholarship edition highlights the exponential increase in the number of talented young people that Mannkal is sending to international think tanks. It also reveals Mannkal's plans for the future and introduces you to Dr George Bowen, Mannkal's recently appointed Chief Executive Officer. This new position allows me to focus on my Chairman's role.

Earlier this month, Mannkal and the Freedom & Prosperity Club welcomed Benjamin Marks, editor-in-chief of Economics.org.au, to discuss appropriate methods for communicating with hostile audiences. The event provided much interesting discussion and an enthralling debate.

Benjamin Marks Event Attendees

Mannkal's Scholars Co-ordinator, Becky Vidler, spent the last month interviewing hopeful candidates for the 2013/14 international scholarships period. The high standard of the applicants this year made the process very difficult! For more information on this year's scholarships recipients, please scroll down.

Mannkal has also been busy selecting 6 students to attend the upcoming Samuel Griffith Society Conference in Sydney specialising in "constitutional law". The Samuel Griffith scholars will depart for Sydney over the next few days to hear esteemed speakers discuss federalism, judicial power, referenda and much more!

Please feel free to forward this email or any of this material to your own contacts. To subscribe to this publication, please click here (for new subscribers only).

My regular Mannerisms this month (please scroll to the end) addresses the issue, "Australia's endangered species- Small Business".
