I am writing to inform you of a fantastic conference that is being held in Perth in Mid-October!
The Mannkal Economic Education Foundation and the Murdoch University School of Law are holding a two-day Conference dedicated to the discussion of threats posed to Freedom of Speech in Australia and worldwide!
Conference speakers and moderators include The Hon. Christian Porter MLA, Dr Augusto Zimmermann, Professor James Allan, Professor Joseph M Fernandez and Professor Jürgen Bröhmer. Mr Chris Berg, author of In Defence of Freedom of Speech: From Ancient Greece to Andrew Bolt, will be keynote speaker.
The Conference will be divided into two parts. The first part is a welcoming reception held on the 12th of October in the Murdoch Law School Foyer with the opportunity to meet fellow Conference attendees. The second part is a day Conference held on the 13th of October from 12pm to 6pm in the Murdoch University Freehills Lecture Theatre.
The Mannkal Foundation is providing scholarships for student attendees. To apply for a student scholarship, please email a copy of your current resume to Alexander McVey. For non-students, registration for the Conference is available for $130, or $100 for the Saturday Conference only.
