Four Mannkal students accompanied me to "The Genius of Western Civilisation" conference last week in Melbourne, a joint Mannkal/Institute of Public Affairs event. My introductory comments are here.

  Vaclav Klaus - Threats to Freedom in the 21st Century

Vaclav Klaus is the President of the Czech Republic and accepted our invitation to visit Perth. He played a major role in reforming and invigorating the economy of this former Soviet controlled country. Opportunities for Students

  Mises Seminar

The Mises Seminar is a national event which aims to educate the public in Austrian-school economics and libertarian theory in the tradition of Ludwig von Mises, Murray Rothbard and Hans-Hermann Hoppe, while celebrating the notable contributions of other Austrian-school economists such as Friedrich A. Hayek and Israel Kirzner. Mannkal will select two students from each WA University to attend this conference. Click here for more information and to apply.
