An environmental hero from Nanaimo has passed. Murray Rogers, a pioneer environmental leader in our community, supported the development of many organizations covering ocean protection, forestry, social justice, and more. He was our friend and ally in making a difference for Mother Earth. He is remembered for his spirit of generosity, helping anyone he met. And no-one can forget his sizeable personality. He will be sadly missed.
