"When you feel unworthy
of the gift of salvation,
it is better to thank God
than to doubt Him."

WEEKEND UPDATE:
Sunday morning, we came together as the church God has been so lovingly, faithfully growing us into... a fellowship of grateful believers, looking to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith. New in our walk or long on our journey or somewhere in between, we are SonCoast - a place of Grace - a place of renewal, recovery, rebirth. We heard these insightful perspectives from Elders Hal Harrison and Jack Meier, as they shared with us about our past eight years under the l eadership of Pastor Mitch. How affirming and encouraging to reflect on the observations of our brothers! God has done a remarkable thing in and through Pastor Mitch and Faith, allowing us to understand God's Grace and bear witness to countless lives transformed for Christ. We walk on in these victories in humble awe; knowing that, indeed, the best is always yet to come.
This coming Sunday morning, we come together as an empowered Body of Christ, to worship with Pastor Mitch & Faith, and to hear his farewell message. Later in the afternoon, in our special SonCoast way, we'll give loving tribute to our brother and sister - who have poured themselves into our lives so selflessly, without hesitation. Then afterward, a fellowship dinner follows to celebrate. Plan to be together with us for this very precious time.
Pastor Ken preached on the topic of "A River To Cross." In the Book of Joshua, we observe three steps taken by the Israelites to cross the Jordan River: Consecration, Connection and Commemoration. Their success in this journey speaks volumes into our own lives today, as we face crossing our own "rivers" to reach the other side. Dedicating our every endeavor to our Lord is essential without question, and begins with consecrating ourselves to Him. Pastor reminded us of this old and treasured hymn. Be blessed: Take My Life
Were you with us Sunday morning?
If not, listen here for Pastor Ken's so-timely sermon:
