SETTING THE STAGE FOR 2013
| |
The Chamber has just finished a very busy and productive year of transition. The Board of Directors, the Transition Team and the staff spent a significant amount of time fine tuning a new strategic plan, initiating new member benefit programs and having dialogue with members and community leaders.
Scott Hadley, Managing Partner, Bartlett, Pringle & Wolf, LLP, took up the reins of Chamber board chair on January 1. Janet Garufis, 2012 board chair, will formally pass the gavel to Scott at the State of the Chamber annual meeting/awards luncheon on Thursday, February 7.
Interim CEO Zoe Taylor states, "This is a very important event for the Chamber membership, government officials and community leaders to attend. Ms. Garufis will share the accomplishments of 2012 with Mr. Hadley highlighting the new 2013 Chamber Business Plan. " She also said, "Awards will be presented to the Businessman and Businesswoman of the Year, along with the Community Collaboration Award, the Innovator Award and the Student of the Year Award. This is a great event to kick off the New Year."
Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact Stephanie Armstrong at 805-965-3023 or Stephanie@sbchamber.org. Make your reservations with Danielle Singer at Danielle@sbchamber.org For more information visit www.sbchamber.org
