Greetings!
Is your life crazy busy, even chaotic? We have been trying to entice you to come to the women's retreat and I'm sure many of you are thinking, "I'm just too busy". Trust me, I know all about that and in my vast years of experience (I just had another birthday so I am feeling quite ancient) I can assure you that taking a break from your 'busyness" can actually help break the cycle. Our speaker Karen Ehman will give you so many practical ideas about turning your chaos into calm you will come away with a fresh new perspective plus have a whole lot of fun along the way.
I hope you will consider coming, I would love to be able to spend some time with you!

Special Presentation at this year's retreat...
We are honored to have a representative from "Women At Risk" share with us about the tragedy of human trafficking around the world. WAR rescues women and children, giving them shelter in safe houses and helping them develop skills to support themselves.
WAR will be bringing a 'boutique' of items made by these women which will be available for purchase --- 80% of all proceeds go directly back to rescue, support and train these women. There is no obligation to 'shop' at the retreat, but we do want you to be aware that the boutique will be available so you may want to bring your check books or cash along in case you see something you just have to have!

Looking for a spring Bible study?
Two new groups are beginning this week and we would love to have you join us!
* Wednesdays at 6:30 PM beginning March 20 in Room 201. We will start a DVD study based on David Platt's book Follow Me. For many Christians, following Jesus is seen as best done from a distance. We want to be disciples as long as doing so does not intrude on our lifestyles, our preferences, our comforts, and even our religion. But what if we really took the time to look Jesus in the eye and see who He truly is? What if we really listened to Jesus' words and heard what He is truly saying? Facilitated by Melissa Gray. Workbook: $12.
* Thursdays at 6:30 PM beginning March 21 in Room 204. We will study Beth Moore's Stepping Up: A Journey Through the Psalms of Ascent. Explore the major feasts of Israel and the themes of unity, joy, gratitude, redemption, repentance, facing ridicule, and more. This study will help you learn from these treasured Psalms as you journey toward greater intimacy with God. Facilitated by Eileen Ellis. Workbook: $12.
