Dieter and Hetty Meun
|
Dieter and Hetty Meun are members of the Foundation's Legacy Society. They have made a generous bequest in their trust to the Community Foundation that will endow a college scholarship for Douglas High School Students.
They have also consulted with Tracy Turner, Chief Philanthropy Officer on current gifts to local nonprofits.
On May 14 Dieter and Hetty joined the Community Foundation and friends for a small party in the Carson Valley to introduce the Foundation to professional advisors and prospective clients. Dieter spontaneously spoke of his experience working with the Foundation: "Through the Foundation I have been able to check out local nonprofits, and to structure my gifts as I want."
"Above all is the immaculate reputation of CFWN and its dedication and flexibility to help realize our goals for charitable giving."

Springmeyer Fund 2014 Grant.
Geneva Springmeyer left her home and rental property through her estate to the Community Foundation to fund projects that will help elderly women remain in the homes in Carson City.
The first grant after the recent settlement of her estate was sent to the Alzheimer's Association to fund a support group for caregivers in the area.
Each year another grant will be put to good use, carrying out Geneva's vision and building her legacy.
It is exciting to note that Geneva Springmeyer was just one of many generous people from the Carson Valley making estate gifts through the Community Foundation. |
