New Foundation Board Members
Ronda DeMars, Phil Howeth, and Randy Riley were recently elected to three-year terms on the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation Board of Trustees. To learn more about the new and current board members click here. 
Dialysis Nurse Published Nationally
An article written by St. Peter's Dialysis Nurse Alice Luehr, B.A., R.N., C.N.N., was recently published in Dialysis News and Issues, a national renal magazine.  Luehr's feature takes a look at dialysis from a nurse's point of view.  To read the article, click here.
Arthritis Aquatics Certification
Two St. Peter's Community Education staff were recently certified as Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program instructors after successfully completing training in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Aquatic exercise classes are held in a warm pool at Capital City Health Club, no membership is required.  To learn more, click here.
Community Input

Ten volunteers from throughout the Helena area were recently selected to serve on St. Peter's new Community Advisory Council. They include a nurse, retired Chief Medical Officer, retired hospital Chief Executive Officer, and others committed to improving St. Peter's quality of care and access to services.  To meet the members and learn more about the group's mission, please click here.

Support Group Features Grief Expert

 "You Matter Too... Support for Caregivers," will meet on Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at the Hospital. The guest speaker will be Marriage and Family Therapist Elaine Maronic, LMFT. "You Matter Too," is a free program offering emotional support to men and women who care for those affected by chronic or serious illness.  Please call Judy Gardner for more information, at 442-6314.
