Hurricane Season is in full swing and we have been lucky here in South Louisiana as we have had a very inactive season thus far. However, it never hurts to be prepared just in case something decides to head our way. September is National Preparedness Month - are you prepared for a disaster?
Online scams involving renting apartments, etc are on the rise. BBB and Western Union work together to bring awareness to this scam and help consumers avoid getting involved.
Consumers are always looking for ways to make money especially from home or without having to go into an office with set hours. One of the most popular ways to do this is Mystery Shopping. While there are legitimate Mystery Shopping opportunities, most turn out to be "too good to be true" and try to take your money. Find out how to avoid the scam and hold on to your hard earned money.
