Santa is coming to visit!

On December 24th, Santa will be making a stop at our Springfield Parlor between the hours of 5:30 and 7:30. Don't forget to bring your camera, and you can take all of the pictures you want with Santa and your child.
If you don't have a camera, don't worry. Santa's elves will be there to take pictures! |

 Christmas Card Day, honors Sir Henry Cole (1818 - 1874) of England. Cole created the first commercial Christmas Card in 1843.
Just a few decades ago, sending Christmas cards through the mail was a holiday "must". Sending cards through the mail continues to be very popular. The cost and time for writing and sending cards has caused many people to stop sending them. Free Ecards have surged in popularity. Today is a good day to send out your Christmas cards and holiday greetings.

 Leavenworth Nutcracker Museum - is a museum dedicated to nutcrackers, located in Leavenworth, Washington. Founded by Arlene Wagner and her husband George in 1995, the museum housed over 6,000 nutcrackers in 2010. Wagner studied ballet under Alexandra Danilova, and subsequently became a ballet instructor. She taught multiple productions of The Nutcracker, and became enamored of nutcrackers. She began collecting them during the 1960s. The museum's building is of a Bavarian style and is of an area of 3,000 square feet; it is situated above Wagner's shop Nussknacker Haus, which sells nutcrackers.
