Our Mission: Joining hands with community partners, we provide a safe and child friendly Center that supports the prevention, investigation and prosecution of child abuse.

"Alyssa Lies" is a song about abuse. In an interview, Carroll said he felt led to write the song but it still took almost three years to craft it to his satisfaction. He understood it was an important message... Read more

Break the Chain of Child Abuse annual event was held on March 21 with more than 500 children and adults gathered at the Charlie Rose Agri-Expo Center. This annual event culminated with the entire audience linking together paper chains around the auditorium. The chain was torn apart symbolizing "breaking the chain of child abuse".

During the event the Champion for Children awards were presented.

The winner in the Professional Category was Margaret "Buntie" Russ.

The winner in the Volunteer Category was Lydia Short.

The winner of the Agency/Group Category was Cumberland County Schools Social Workers/Social Work Services.
