Drum roll, please...
We have so many reasons to be excited at my Sugar Palace these days. Let's start with the completion of our new Carriage House Restaurant. We've hosted private events such as ladies luncheons, showers, and weddings. All who visit this space are in love with the hand- plastered moldings, antique chandeliers, and exquisite furnishings that make it a grand ballroom. Very soon, we will offer daily breakfast for our overnight guests, high tea every afternoon, and dinner every night.
Oh, and speaking of overnight guests, a welcomed addition of 21 cottages adds to the experience of luxurious plantation life- The Inn at Houmas House. Each private room or suite is unique in its floor plan, artwork, and old world furniture. Guests will enjoy 10 foot ceilings, porcelain and marble bathrooms, and all the amenities that one would expect of a modern-day Sugar Baron.
There's no better place to live a day in the life of a Sugar Baron than Houmas House Plantation. From dining, to garden strolling, to overnight accommodations, visitors feel like they are brought back in time and living the life of Rhett and Scarlet, at least for a day.
Love,
Princess Grace
