Sassafras Creole Cream Cheese Ice Cream
Makes 1 quart
2 (12 ounce) Cartons of Creole Cream Cheese
2 Cups Heavy Whipping Cream
1 1/2 Cups of Sugar
3 Egg Yolks
Pinch of Cinnamon and Nutmeg
2 Tablespoons of Vanilla
1 Tablespoon File Gumbo Powder
Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix thoroughly. Place ice cream mixture into an ice cream machine and blend according to the machine's instructions.
