Many small businesses and organizations find themselves seeking the right strategies, tools and tactics to make their marketing efforts as effective as possible. But between Facebook and Twitter, email and mobile, deals, and whatever new social network is rolling out that month-there's a lot to keep up with. And there are only so many hours in each day. The number of possibilities can feel overwhelming. This session will help make sense of the noise. Today we're going to show you how to make the most of the combination of email and social media for your business. When the session is done you'll have a greater understanding of marketing basics like goals and objectives. You'll learn what a "campaign" is and what to write about and offer in that campaign. You'll be given some simple but powerful tips for how to get your messages opened and read, shared and socially visible. And you'll see that there are some great tools you can use to help engage with your existing customers and supporters as well as expand your reach to new prospects. Throughout the session you'll be given opportunities to capture your own ideas and build out the framework of your own "next great campaign." So join us and start to build a plan that will help you grow your business by eliciting the responses you want from your customers or supporters.

Bedford wins Serve Pro's 2nd Annual Softball Challenge
|
This year Bedford took both the trophy and honors!
Team Bedford lead by captain Amanda Aiken of SERVPRO oLexington/Bedford knocked Team Lexington out of the park with an overwhelming victory of 16-1. Both Teams Lexington and Bedford are comprised of residents, Chamber members, Rotarian's, BNI's, and local business. Team Lexington may have been the defending champs, but Team Bedford arrived with the big bats and brought the heat on an already sweltering day. The first inning they batted in 5 runs setting the stage for Team Lexington of what was to come. Team Lexington did not score a run until the 7th and final inning of which Team Bedford scored 7 runs. The game ended on a high note for Lexington getting that one run scored thanks to the third base coaching and bat of James Harrington. The game was left with high spirits and a rematch in the Spring.
Most importantly, regardless of the outcome, a large amount of donations were brought to benefit both the Lexington and Bedford food pantries. The challenge has been issued to Team Bedford and Team Lexington is ready to reclaim the title next spring.
Players on Team Bedford are Left to Right
Tim Owens(Pitcher), Eric Gaalaas (Bedford Resident), Will Sullivan, John Urquhart, John Volante, Terrence Parker(Bedford Resident), Cliff Rober(Bedford Resident), Amanda Aiken (ServePro)
