To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!

Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.

Enter the Take Action Now System (tm).

With this five-step system, you'll clarify the activities that are mission-critical to your success. You'll then be walked through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.

The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.

Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today.

I suspect that you, like most of us, enjoy finding a bargain and feeling like you've gotten a good deal.  That's why, when you're in the buyer's role, you probably do some careful shopping to get the most for your money.

Successful entrepreneurs are good at balancing.  They balance the knowledge that their clients are looking for a good deal (high value for an acceptable cost) and that they themselves are doing just the same (looking to generate high revenues without having to deal with the Client From Hell).

It gets tricky, though, when your client's idea of "acceptable cost" differs radically from yours.  Especially if you're new in business, any revenue can seem like good revenue.  If you get caught up in the game of cutting your prices to get the business, though, you're setting a dangerous precedent for yourself.  Would you really be satisfied, financially or emotionally, running a bargain-basement type of business?

If you find yourself accepting less money than your services are really worth, use the following tools to get full value for your expertise.
Tip of the Week

Resist the temptation to compete on price; otherwise, you'll inevitably be viewed as a commodity.

If you're losing money on every client, you won't succeed no matter how many clients you take on.  You don't have to charge premium prices, but you also want to acknowledge your expertise and be paid appropriately for it.
A Really Good Resource

If you find yourself huffing and puffing to set your fees and stick with them, you'll find some useful insights in T. Harv Eker's book, Secrets of the Millionaire Mind: Mastering the Inner Game of WealthIn it, he challenges your implicit views about money and shows you how to start shifting your mindset so that you don't feel you have to cut prices and beg for the business.

Lyuba Ellingson and Alex Meystelman, the co-founders of Red Elixir Business Solutions, have discovered an unexpected side benefit to refusing to play the "lowest-price in town" game.

They got so busy with their online-marketing consulting firm that they raised their prices.  Not only did this increase their revenues, but they found that the higher prices were bringing them more interesting clients and projects than the lower prices had.  Sweet.

The Bottom Line

Is a review and evaluation of your pricing one of those important-but-not-urgent tasks you've been putting off for a while?  Do you know you could earn more if you only got around to adding that product / getting that certification / hiring that virtual assistant to free your time for client work?

How much money are you leaving on the table because you're just not getting the right things done?

If you answer is "too much money," I can help.  I'll give you a structure, a detailed action plan, and a compassionately ruthless accountability buddy to ensure that you implement those projects that have been languishing on the back burner.

If that sounds like something that's long overdue, call or e-mail me to set up a let's-see-what-we-see, get-acquainted call.

Wishing you joy on your journey into Big...
