It's Time
To Get Off The Hamster Wheel!
Just being in motion will never get you to your Big. To do that, you need to be sure you're doing the right things, in the right order, for the right reasons.
This seven-step system clarifies the activities that are mission-critical to your success. It then walks you through a process for creating step-by-step action plans to implement those key activities.
The result? You get off the hamster wheel of motion-without-progress and get on a more direct route to more clients and more money.
Forget about being busy; start getting focused by downloading your no-charge PDF version of the Take Action Now System (tm) today. |

Greetings!
We're actually settled into our new home enough that I have time and energy to head back to the Twin Cities and collect some important-but-not-essential items a friend has been storing for us. I'm also setting up appointments to handle both personal and professional business.
Since I'm only in town for three days, I'm being ruthless about scheduling and prioritizing. Important stuff is getting done, while "nice to do" stuff is getting postponed until a later trip.
Any entrepreneur who's been on deadline knows that, the less time you have, the easier it is to focus on truly critical activities. Most of us, unfortunately, are not as rigorous as we could be about allocating time to high-priority tasks and focusing on those tasks until they're completed.
Next time you find time slipping away from you, use these tools to get back on a productive track.

Tip of the Week
Experiment with a four-hour workday.
If you're already up to your adenoids in busy-ness, spending less time on work may sound like insanity. On the other hand, if you're not pleased with current results, what do you have to lose? You may find that you truly accomplish more in four focused hours than you normally do when you give yourself a full eight-hour day to work with.

How's This for Success?

Today I'm giving a shout out to all entrepreneurs who have a great time making lots of money and winning amazing prizes in direct sales (also called multi-level marketing).
I suspect all of us know someone who regularly takes trips that they've won based on sales and team building. Why are there so many successful people in MLMs? I think one of the main reasons is incentive programs that have tight deadlines.
If you love to travel and know that an all-expense paid trip to the Caribbean is waiting for you if you reach a certain goal in a short time, what do you do? You clear the decks of any activities that do not directly contribute to your goal, and you make it happen. Having a limited amount of time to work in tends to focus your thoughts, energy, and effort - typically with great results.
Or, as Samuel Johnson once said: "...when a man knows he is to be hanged in a fortnight, it concentrates his mind wonderfully."

Thanks to my friend Flickr.
Here are this week's heroes who graciously allowed me to use their images, posted in the Creative Commons area of Flickr, in this issue of Stepping Into Big:
