It sifted on down through the dark of the night
Gentle puffs of light snow that turn the world white
Dawn came with the chill, and the change in the land
A sure sign that Christmas would soon be at hand! Yes, a year has rolled by, the Season is here
and with it come thoughts of our friends far and near
We hope that this finds you both well and content
and that for you twenty-twelve was time happily spent It's been a speedy twelve months on HORIZON's home front
We've been busy, as always, as we keep up the hunt In the past we had cherry, walnut and oak,
mixed with maples and elm to lead fashion and hope.
Today a trend looms and with it we know,
we must battle to sell what we locally grow. So as extras we search for the strange and unique.
We don't let much moss grow under our feet.
We dig deep and coddle all that we do.
To polish those jewels, so rare and so few. Yes, it's been a strange year. One of ups and of downs.
Some profits, expansions, some smiles, some frowns.
But trust when we say we are in it long term.
