Homeowners ROE Outlook

In a recent study, Aon Benfield Analytics states the overall outlook for the Homeowners line of business is promising. Excluding Florida, the industry's prospective ROE is 11.8 percent with the outlook for 30 states expected to clear a 12 percent hurdle rate. Use Creativity to Breathe New Life
into Your Products

Many of us work in organizations that have been around for many decades. For example, IBM-a popular employer-is over 100 years old.

Older organizations are great, but they often have a corporate culture that has not changed much over the years. In addition, their traditional products and services continue to sell well, but the margins are much lower and there is much more competition. Some people blame stagnation and lower profits on age-that only new and hip things sell these days.

Ten Years Later-What We've Learned from the "Great Communicator":
15 Tips from Ronald Reagan for Communicating with Impact

In studying the highest levels of leadership, impact, and influence, several common aspects of effective communication become clear. The 10th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's passing was this past summer on June 5, but even 10 years later and 25 years after his presidency, he is still known as the "Great Communicator." He masterfully demonstrated effective communication throughout his presidency, a perfect and historical example being his speech at the Brandenburg Gate, when he implored Gorbachev to "tear down this wall!" You can become a "Great Communicator" by carefully planning and creating your own messaging.
