Prom Dress Swap

Saturday, March 22

Noon-4:00 p.m., Weekes Branch Library

Going to the prom this year, but looking to keep your costs down? Then come to Hayward Library's first-ever Prom Dress Swap! Just bring a gently used prom, formal or party dress (shoes and accessories, too!) to the Weekes Branch Library between Saturday, February 22, and 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22.

Participants donating a dress will receive a ticket to shop for one dress on March 22, from noon-2:00 p.m. Those without a dress to swap are welcome to attend between 2:00-4:00 p.m. Dresses (and shoes/accessories) should be current, recently cleaned and in excellent condition - all sizes and styles are welcome!

For more information, or to donate a dress or accessories, contact Rob Spitzel (510-293-5065 or rob.spitzel@hayward-ca.gov) at Weekes, or Clio Hathaway (510-881-7948 or clio.hathaway@hayward-ca.gov) at the Main Library. This program is free and open to all local teens.
